WIP Imperial Fists

I have not had a lot of time to put to my Imperial Fists army recently, having just picked up nearly 200 more Skaven miniatures that all need painted. I did get a chance to do some work on my squad and decided to push further ahead with the squad commander first to get a feel for painting the yellows and shading. I think he's looking really good at this stage but I think I may swap some of the steps around to get a better finish. Currently I start with Averland Sunset, shade with Casandora Yellow then apply a layer or two of Yriel Yellow, I will probably have to play around with some highlight colours to get the right tone, I may use something like a 50/50 blend of Screaming Skull and Yriel - I think the brown tones in the Skull will give a better finish but we will see. I think I am going to apply the first coat of Yriel on the next one before the was as I think it will give a better finish on the Yriel as I can work the paint in a smoother way.

Anyway, what do you think of the WIP - a lot of details still to do.
